    Pat Hornsby Crochet is a retired speech and theatre teacher with more than fifty years of experience. She earned a BS in speech education from Nicholls State University and an MS in theatre from Florida State University. This is not her only book where Randolph is the star—check out Randolph Saves Christmas for more fun with this adorable little coonhound! Crochet lives in Montegut, Louisiana, with her husband and enjoys spending time with her three grown children and six grandchildren. Artist Sarah Gramelspacher earned her BA from the University of New Orleans, where she focused on painting. Skilled in graphite, marker, and colored pencil techniques, she primarily creates her book illustrations digitally. Gramelspacher has shown her work in galleries across the United States and has been producing children’s illustrations for almost a decade from her home studio in Madisonville, Louisiana.
